Dear Grade Two Parents,

The Grade Two children have made a fabulous start to their investigation into Life Cycles this term. To help us continue with our learning, we will be heading to the Melbourne Zoo on Friday, June 1st.

While at the zoo, the children will participate in a session run by a zoo educator. The ‘Wild Explorers’ program explores the stages of an animal’s life cycle and the variety of growth and change in the living world.

In order to complete our set activities, the buses must leave GIPS by 9.00am. Children need to assemble in their classroom by 8.45am for the morning roll. Children will need to bring their snack, drink bottle and lunch in a labelled, disposable bag. We will return to school by 3.00pm.

The cost of the excursion is $36.00 which comes from the pre-paid excursion levy.
If you have not paid the levy, please make this payment via COMPASS or through the office.

All parents must also provide consent for the excursion via Compass.

Please provide payment and/or consent for this event by Friday 25th May.
